or the Fête des Vignerons (Wine Festival) is a unique traditional festival in Vevey, Switzerland. This event takes place at intervals of 14 to 28 years and for the first time since 1797. However, the maximum number is five times a century. The first festival in the 21st century took place in 2019 and was the twelfth in a row. The festival includes a parade celebrating the world of viticulture, shows are held at a market near the shore of Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), and festivals are also held in the city and in the arena for 22 222 spectators. In 2016, the Fête des Vignerons was included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
